Five races for the Dec 26 2010

The Dos Hermanas racetrack (turf) will hold five races this next sunday.
The main race is a 2,200 m race for 3 yo+, a prep race for the Gran Premio de Andalucía to be raced early next year in this same racetrak

Kuruchet (ARG), (a bay colt, 2007, by Beat Hollow and Karlaska) winner two weeks ago beating Dansico, (see race here, will try to repeat but this time he will face new rivals.

Inkhayan (SPA) (gelding, 2007, Sulamani-Cuddles) was third in the Premio Villamejor (Spanish St. Leger, 2,800 m) November 7th this year:

He has a record of 5 races, two wins and three places with 22,300 euros. He seems a progressive colt and will probably be better next year.

Ilusionista (SPA, 2006, Humool and Brevaya), always runs well in this track. With a total of 23 races, 3 wins and 7 places, his record in this track is two wins, one second and two thirds in 5 races.


Other partants are: Challis, Seminole Cry, Rublo Henn, Smart Side, Blackberry Boy, Loch Etive and Lisselan Beauty.

VISINDAR

Visindar (2003, GB) Sinndar-Visor (by Mr. Prospector) will stand as a stallion for the 4th year at the Yeguada Tierra Ibera, Palencia, Spain.

Visindar, a chestnut horse, won his first three races, including the Prix Greffulhe (G2-France) and was the heavy favorite for the Epsom Derby. However, he finished fifth in the race won by Sir Percy. After suffering
an injury, he didn't run again at 3 years, and reappeared at 4 with a second place.

With a good fertility index, his first crop are yearlings (born 2009). His fee for 2010 was 2,000 euros - October 1st / 2,500 live foal.

CAMURAY (SPA) wins the sprint Premio Ayuntamiento de Dos Hermanas

The spanish bred 5 yo colt Camuray (Slipstream King - Reina Blanca by Highest Honor) won today the main race in the  Dos Hermanas racetrack a 1,200 m race for 3yo+. Camuray was bred and is owned by Yeguada Cortinal, winner for the 10th time in the breeders chart in Spain. He is trained by E. León and the winner jockey is V. Janacek who won today dis first two races in Spain.
Mr. Rigsby, a 7 y/o gelding run a close second. Flying Flute lead the way for most of the race but finished 3rd.
Camuray is one of the 9 winners out of 10 runners from his dam, Reina Blanca (the only non winner is a 2 y/o filly).

SIRENITA (IRE)

SIRENITA (IRE, 2006, Mull of Kintyre - Division Bell, by Warning), a filly owned by Safsaf (one of the most important stables in Spain) will try to win this sunday the Premio Ayuntamiento de Dos Hermanas, a 1,200 m race for colts and fillies 3yo+ at Dos Hermanas (Seville)

Sirenita began her career at 2 years with three wins in a row back in the spring of 2008, to finish then 4th in the Critérium Internacional (San Sebastian) and 2nd (to Aiboa) in the Premio Carlos Sobrino (Criterium for fillies). She then changed owner and went on to specialize in short distances. Her record is now 22 races, 8 wins and 11 places, with 103,750 euros.

Sirenita is a half sister to Sharpbill (2000, GB, by Eagle Eyed), placed in G2 in the USA.

Bannaby to stand at Yeguada Miranda, Guadalajara, Spain.

Prix du Cadran 2008 (Gr I, France) winner Bannaby, by Dyhim Diamond and Trelakari (Lashkari) will stand at the Yeguada Miranda (property of his owner, Cuadra Miranda) from the 2011 season.
Bannaby (2003) won the Premio Villamejor (Spanish St. Leger) in 2006 and then won the Copa de Oro de San Sebastián (2008 and 2010) and the Gran Premio de Madrid (2008) among other wins, for a total of 36 races, with 12 wins, 19 places and 495,940 euro. His fee will be 1,200 euro (live foal) or 1,000 euro (October 1st).

Kuruchet (ARG) beats Dansico (GB)

Argentinian bred Kuruchet (now 6 wins in 10 races) beat Dansico (Dansili) in the 2000 m main race in Dos Hermanas (Seville), Dec. 12 2010. Dansico, the heavy favourite, was 4th in the G3 (FR) Prix Hocquart earlier this year.

Bottega (USA) wins a D race in France. The chestnut colt, son of Mineshaft, won Dec.12.2010 in Toulouse. Bottega was fourth in the Premio Villapadierna (Spanish Derby) and also in the Copa de Oro de San Sebastián.

Bottega is a half brother to Solita (USA) one of the best fillies of recent years in Spain.
