Casaca (GB) wins the Premio Quíntuple Plus

The main race of the Friday meeting at La Zarzuela, Madrid, a 2,200 m race for 4y/o+ fillies on turf, was won by Casaca (GB, 2006) [Medicean-Priena(Priolo)] a chestnut filly owned by Cuadra Africa, trained by J.M. Osorio and ridden by Jeremy Crocquevieille. Apart from having the same team of owner, trainer and jockey, Casaca is half sister to Entre Copas, winner of the last Mijas Cup. She won by 7 1/2 lengths.

Monyaar (FR) (Montjeu-Ikhtekayaar(Mr. Prospector)] was second, with Criss Cross (SPA) [Green Tune-Zulfaa(Bahri)] third and Midgard [Galileo-Kelpie(Kahyasi)] fourth.
