Salpado (FR, 2006) [Royal Applause-Moonbaby], owned by Cuadra Ehun, trained by R. Martín S, will be ridden by J. Crocquevieille.

Shumookh (IRE, 2003) [Mujahid-Midway Lady] owned by Cuadra Los Aspirantes-Dos Tumbos, trained by T. Callejo, will be ridden by J. C. Cerqueira. Winner of the last edition, beating Silverside

Bellaside (IRE, 2007) [La Vie dei Colori-Brockton Saga], owned by Grupo Bolaños Gran Canaria, trained by Enrique León, will be ridden by J L. Martínez

Don Fernando Hab (SPA, 2008) [Intikhab-Flying Fulmar], owned by Cuadra Vadillo, trained by Alberto Carrasco, will be ridden by J. E. Jarkovsky

Volcánico (IRE, 2008) [Refuse to Bend-Zayana], owned by Cuadra Los Toneles, trained by Francisco Rodríguez, will be riden by J. L. Martínez

Some winners in recent years are Shumookh, who won in 2010, Aranel (Hawk Wing), winner in 2009, Chalusset, French raider who won in 2007 and 2008, Trip to the moon, the outstanding filly, later Group performer in Turkey, winner of the 2006 edition. (Trip to the moon has a yearling in the next Arqana sale). Okawango won twice, 1996 and 1997, like Primer Amor (1991, 1992) (ridden the second time by Willie Carson)
