Duke (bay gelding, GER, 2006) won the 2,800 m race in the Dos Hermanas racetrack (Seville) in a thrilling finish after a long fight in the stretch with Domeside (GB), over a heavy going. Ilusionista, as usual, led the way for most of the race but, just before entering the final straight, Domeside took command and looked as a winner, but couldn't resist the final attack of Duke. Rayen (SPA) was third.
Duke (second Set-Deborah) is owned by Cuadra Cholaica, trained by J.L. Maroto and was ridden by Oscar Ortiz de Urbina. This is his second consecutive win.
