Ayanz (GB, 2008) [Tiger Hill-Got to go(Shareef Dancer)], trained by G. Arizkorreta and ridden by V. Janacek for Cuadra Quinto Real, won today the GP Memorial Duque de Toledo (2,400 m, 3yo+] at the La Zarzuela racetrack, beating
Arnuero (GB, 2008) [Sakhee-Penang Pearl(Bering)] by a length, with Domeside (GB, 2006) [Domedriver-Buck's Fizz(Kris)] a head behind.
Karluv Most, winner of the 2010 edition, was fourth.
The stable mate of
Entre Copas,
Porquenotecallas was the frontrunner, followed by
Clunia, who replaced him in the far straight. In the home turn,
Karluv Most,
Señor Miranda and
Entre Copas launched their attacks, but it was in the home straight when the first three in the wire came from behind.

This is the fourth win in six starts for Ayanz, who won the Spanish Derby (Premio Villapadierna) in his previous start, back in june.
