The chestnut stallion, sire of Group 1 winners Turtle Bowl (Prix Jean Prat) and Bannaby (Prix du Cadran), died today at the Dehesa de Milagro, apparently due to a sudden heart attack.
Dyhim Diamond (IRE, 1994) [Night Shift-Happy Landing(Homing)] was the champion stallion in Spain in 2011 and stood at the Haras de Ulzama for most of his career as an stallion, being transferred to Dehesa de Milagro last July, where he stood for a fee of 3,000 euros alongside Diktat and Caradak.
Among his notable progeny in Spain are Abdel (GP Hispanidad, Premio Antonio Blasco), Eltso (2nd in the Villapadierna - Spanish Derby) and a good number of winners
