The manager of the San Sebastián racecourse (at Lasarte) has announced the summer season of this year, that has, as its major novelty, four meetings through an agreement with the French PMU, meaning that the PMU will offer bettings in these four days of racing (August 11, 15 and 25 and September 7).
This will give a total of 14 days of races (up from 12 last year) with a total of 74 races. The days will be:
July: Sundays 10, 17, 24, 31
August: 7, 11 (Thursday), 15 (Monday), 21, 25 (Thursday), 28
September: 1 (Thursday), 4, 7 (Wednesday), 11
All meetings will be broadcasted by TV (TVE, Equidia - the PMU meetings - or La 10).
The San Sebastián racecourse is home, among other races, of the Copa de Oro de San Sebastián, a 2,400 m race for 3 y/o+ in Summer, the Premio Gobierno Vasco (1,600 m, 3 y/o+), the Premio Kutxa (2,200 m, 3 y/o+, fillies)and the Critérium Internacional (1,500 m 2 y/o).
